Christmas Time

Wow, I can't believe that in about four more days its gonna be Christmas. I suppose you could say that I'm excited about it being Christmas and all, but for some reason it doesn't seem like the same excitement I had when I was younger.

For example, I watch my kid bro and he's really really excited about Christmas, he's even counting down the days until Christmas day. I think all children are like that, really excited about Christmas. I guess as children they're really excited about getting presents and stuff. For some strange reason I feel a tad bit apathetic about Christmas day. Since in the past years I've been sleeping in on Christmas day and I remember when I was young I would wake up at 7am and wait impatiently for my parents to wake up. Now I sleep in and everyone impatiently waits for me to wake up, which I will most likely do this Christmas. I find it odd how that as I grew older I started to view Christmas as just a day and not "Christmas Day."

Don't get me wrong I'm excited about it being the Christmas season. Although it seems that I'm excited about for more than just the presents. I guess its what I like about the Christmas season that gets me excited. Such as getting to hang out with friends and family, the cold weather, and not having to worrry about school work. Although I think that there's still a part of me that still considers Christmas day that one special day of the year.

Home

Hmmm.... haven't updated for a while so he goes.

Right now I'm home for winter break. It feels good to be home, I get to sleep late and play video games. Stuff I don't get to do while I'm at ucr. Although its strange I kinda miss ucr and the whole freedom thing. Since now that I'm home I have to do all the chores that I wasn't home to do and my parents get mad at me for staying up past 3am.

On to the things that I've done so far while I was at home. Let's see I saw Ocean's 12 and then Ocean's 11, sleeping, playing world of warcraft, and playing maple story. Wow that doesn't sound like much after being home for six days.

One thing that I'm amazed of is how quickly time can pass when one doesn't keep track of it. For example, the whole fall quarter seems to have flown by for me. It seems that I just moved in and then next thing you know I'm taking my finals for my classes. People should try to keep track of time, so that you have something to remember and not just a blur. Otherwise you won't have anything to reminsce about. Although even though fall quarter seems to have flown by I've managed to remember some events at home and in my dorm. I'm saying all of this and I know that winter break is gonna suddenly end and all my time on my break is a blur. Hopefully I'll be able to remember the things that happen over break. Hmmm...speaking of time I probably should get started on thinking about some New Year's resolutions before its too late.
Alright later guys
