RIP Spaz

This post is in memory of Spaz our pet rabbit, a Dwarf Holland Lop. I wanted to make this post so that I can remember when he passed away. I was in the same room as him and I was watching him before I went to sleep because he had just undergone surgery for a tooth abscess removal. Spaz was acting lethargic and would move around occasionally. At the moment we do not know why he passed away. Before he passed away he started to convulse around 1:40am and I went and held him because I was worried and I said his name a few times then he went limp and it took me a couple of minutes to realize that he had passed away. We plan to bury him later on in a shoebox with notes from all of my family to him.

Enough of the sad part. This will be part of what I will write to Spaz.

Dear Spaz,

When we got you from the shelter we knew of your poopy butt and that we would have to clean it almost weekly. To which we did with a spray bottle, then we used a pair of small scissors to clip off the poop. You would always lick us and would lick our faces and Jeffrey would always lick your head back. Spaz you always loved to eat your food, we could always count on you eating everything we put in front of you. You would sit in front of the pellets or veggies we put in front of you and sit and eat until you were full. With you chip in your ear you resembled Boss from Hamtaro. You were always so calm wherever we took you and you had a mellow aura to you. I'm sorry Spaz that you could not have had more time with us, but God probably determined it was your time to go. I know now you're in heaven now with Moppit and you'll get to know Fluffy and Bubba as well, along with our grandma and grandpas in heaven as well. With a heavy heart Spaz I say farewell.
